Adults weight loss

There is no diet plan that fits for all, therefore the Dietitian at NLV customize the diet plan based on your body requirements, health status and food preferences. The aim of the program is not only to help you lose weight but also make sure you learn how to keep it off.

The first session you will be asked about your medical history, daily schedule and a full body composition analysis will be done using State of the art Inbody 770 body analyser. Based on these information, the dietitian will tailor the diet plan for you.

Each follow up visit will also include the Inbody analysis to make sure that you are losing fat weight and not just water or muscle mass, the diet plan will be discussed and you  will receive a new plan for the next week.

Children weight loss

Kids obesity is getting higher every day putting them at risk of other diseases related to being overweight such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Strict dieting may not be the solution as it affects their growth and may be too hard to follow and may lead to eating disorder too.

Therefore, its very important for kids to start first with a proper assessment of body fat and muscles, look into the habits and the quality of the food ingested.

Q: how many kilos Is a healthy weight gain during pregnancy?

A: Though the average weight gain during pregnancy may be around 11Kg, however if you are starting the pregnancy with extra weight, its recommended to gain between 7-11Kg and if you have too much weight before, you shouldn’t gain more than 5-9. On the other hand, being on the underweight range before getting pregnant you can gain up to 18Kg.
